Episode 5: War in the Trees Marquee

Our heroes travel to Avia, the home to the Birdmen. As they land they are greeted by the herald of the king, Twoot. Twoot quickly calls for an escort to escort them to the king.
Traveling into the tall trees of Avia our heroes are attacked by a squadron of birdmen. The fight is desperate with the heroes outnumbered 3 to one, however the heroes survive except for Twoot taking an injury and the two escorts. During the last minutes of the encounter another group of birdmen show up to assist. However their aid is not needed. Leading the new group is Lt. Scrawk who informs the heroes that the king seems to be under a spell and will do anything his evil son Prince Craw tells him to.
The heroes and Scrawk’s men invade the hall of the king, with Scrawk and his men causing a diversion. Fighting through the kings guards the heroes are minutes from winning when Prince Craw takes a knife to his own father’s neck. But John will not permit this, focusing his mental powers he slices the arm off of Craw.
Craw and Twoot reenter the hall, where Dr. Vahlen and Rysrax realize that the beginning of their problems were Twoot. They then convince the King to imprison Twoot.
At the end each hero is rewarded a pouch of gems and the group is given a bag of stun grenades
